Prana

(France)

Prana was born August 16, 1988 in Paris, France and she thanks her parents for introducing her to Rythmic Gymnastic at the age of four after which she never looked back and participated in many national competitions in which she excelled.

Prana undertook training under the auspices of the French Sports Ministry obtaining a State Sport Educator Certificate in 2006, leading her to take on a new challenge by becoming a teacher, after several Federal Judging Diplomas.
Prana recalls this point in her life when sport became her job and life passion. Around that time, she was privileged to join the RG Fitness Club where steps, Low Impact Aerobic (LIA), bodysculpting and stretching were key elements of the teaching program.

In Late 2007, she made a discovery online and it quickly became another passion as she rapidly fell in love with Pole Fitness.
For Prana, the new sport merged seamlessly and effortlessly with her training in gymnastics. She began to take classes regularly at “Pole Dance Paris”. Soon Prans felt confident enough to decide to participate in Miss Pole Dance France 2008, which was the first such competition in her country. With just four months practice, Prana had no trouble winning the hearts of the judges and drew acclaim as Sponsors Choice.

Not long after, “Pole Dance Paris” invited Prana to take on the status of Professor, a position she gladly accepted being so passionate about education and sport activities. The following year, Prana obtained 2nd place with highest technical score at the French Championship 2009.

It’s after this competition, Prana starts to have international requests:

- To be the French representing for the First International Pole Fitness Convention at Washington (Guest Performer / Guest Teacher)
- To guest perform, judge, and teach for East meets West Tri-Pole Challenge at Hollywood
- To judge and teach for American Pole Fitness Association Final Championships

2010, the year of consecration, Prana gets the French Championships Title. She is aiming to rank among the best inspired by her international idols of Pole Fitness notably; Marlo Fisken (US), Jenyne Butterfly (US), Natasha Wang (US), Oöna Kivelä (Fin)…
